Borussia Monchengladbach have completed the transfer of striker Alassane Plea from French football outfit OGC Nice.
Monchengladbach have strengthen their offense with the signing of Plea, who on Friday penned a five-year deal, reported Xinhua news agency.
"We are very happy that this transfer worked out and we were able to prevail against European top-flight clubs. Alassane wanted to join Monchengladbach," said the Bundesliga club's sporting director Max Eberl .
The 25-year-old striker played since 2014 for Nice where he scored 36 goals in 111 appearances. Plea wore France's national team jersey after playing for several youth teams.
"He is a versatile, fast and intelligent striker, who has proven his qualities in the Ligue 1 and UEFA Europa League," Eberl added.
Monchengladbach completed the Bundesliga season 2017-2018 on the 9th place.
