Morocco and India have signed a memorandum of understanding to set up an information and communication technologies (ICT) research centre in Casablanca.
The training centre would promote the transfer of Indian knowhow and expertise in ICT through contributing to the efforts aimed at meeting the needs of this sector in terms of qualified resources and improving the employability of Moroccan students, MAP news agency reported Wednesday.
With technical and financial support of the Indian government, the centre will train 500 people each year and will be housed in the Casablanca Technopark.
