South Delhi Municipal Corporation, in association with Northern Railway, will launch a "mosquito terminator" Friday to prevent the spread of dengue at railway platforms.
Mosquito terminator is a power sprayer mounted on railway engines, which spray larvicide along the platforms, to prevent the spread of dengue.
"This engine will move along New Delhi platforms and will regularly undertake spraying," an official told IANS.
The corporation has recorded 16 dengue cases so far.
