Team Tata Motors continued to dominate the 2014 Indian National TSD Rally Championship as they scored a 1-2-3 in the Pro Stock category in the Spirit of Kalinga III, the sixth round, here Sunday, WHILE Karthik Maruthi and Sankar Anand claimed the overall honours.
Sourav Chatterjee and navigator Ashoke Kumar Basu of Team Tata Motors topped the Pro Stock class after garnering a total time penalty of three minutes, 47 seconds while team-mates Rajiv Sarkar and Moulinath Ghosh (07:43) and defending champions Chidananda Murthy and BS Sujith Kumar (10:51) completed the podium.
The Bangalore-based Murthy and Sujith Kumar, consolidated their position at the top of the Pro-Stock leaderboard by earning 18 points here to take their tally to 124.
In the Pro Expert class, Team Tata Motors entries of Ganesh Moorthy and T Nagarajan, and championship leaders Ajgar Ali and Mohammad Musthafa finished second and third respectively behind Maruti and Anand.
