Arnaldo Salvado, one of Mozambique's best football coaches, was fired by Maputo city's football club Costa do Sol due to bad results in this year's national league.
According to Costa do Sol chairperson Amos Chicualacuala, Salvado will be replaced by technical coach, Portuguese Nelson Santos, reports Xinhua.
Costa do Sol has played nine games and won only three in Mocambola league.
"We are not going to bring in anyone from outside the club, " said Chicualacuala Monday.
Costa do Sol is placed sixth with three wins, two draws and three losses in the league. Liga Muculumana is leading the league with 20 points.
