Mozambique has established a sports medical centre, which includes the southern African country's first anti-doping bureau.
Mozambican Minister of Youth and Sports, Fernando Sumbana, inaugurated the centre here Tuesday, reports Xinhua.
The centre is located in the Zimpeto National Stadium, the country's major sports venue, built with the help of Chinese contractor early before the All Africa Games held in Maputo in 2011.
The centre has a physiotherapy hall, a lab including a gymnasium that will assist national athletes improving their physique, and a health post which will provide assistance for the prevention against injures and above all create conditions for the athletes' well-being.
