Actress Denise Richards has been accused of child abuse and of not taking care of either her daughters or her ex-husband Charlie Sheen's twin sons Bob and Max. The accusation comes from actress Brooke Mueller, who is also mother of the twins.
Richards has two daughters - Sam, 9, and eight-year-old Lola with Sheen, who later married Mueller and has twin sons with her.
The temporary custody of Bob and Max was given to Richards while Mueller completed her 21st stint at a rehabilitation centre.
According to sources, police went to Richards' door Tuesday night and told her they were there to question her about a child abuse claim lodged by Mueller, reports tmz.com.
However, they were not allowed to enter the house because the actress' daughters were inside.
Richards told the police that the claim was "ridiculous" and "vindictive" and that the L.A. County Dept. of Children and Family Services was already handling the dispute that started after Mueller was stripped of custody after a raging drug problem flared up yet again.
