Actress Naomi Watts, who plays lead role in forthcoming biopic "Diana", hopes the story of the movie has been told in a respectful and sensitive manner.
Watts, 44, will play the role of late Princess Diana in the movie, which will also focus on the romantic life that the late royal shared with heart surgeon Hasnat Khan.
While the movie has been under the scanner, Watts says she was expecting this.
"I expected nothing less than it to be controversial, its a sensitive subject," femalefirst.co.uk quoted Watts as saying.
"Diana was and is so loved ... I always expected criticism and uncomfortable questions. I just hope we've told the story in a sensitive and respectful way," she added.
