BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi Wednesday filed his nomination papers from Vadodara Lok Sabha constituency in Gujarat.

Dressed in a crisp kurta-pyjama and saffron Nehru jacket, Modi arrived at the district collectorate around 11.20 a.m.

While signing the papers, he was joined by a local tea vendor who was chosen by the party leadership in a bid to cash in on Modi's tea-seller background and reach out to the masses.

Many Modi supporters, including several form the Muslim community, gathered outside the collectorate and held Modi's posters, cut-outs and party flags.

Modi is also contesting from Varanasi Lok Sabha constituency in Uttar Pradesh.
