Nation remembers parliament attack martyrs

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh here Friday paid tributes to the martyrs of the 2001 attack on the Parliament House.

He was joined by Vice President Hamid Ansari, Speaker Meira Kumar, Rajya Sabha member Sachin Tendulkar and other leaders from various political parties.

This year observes the 12th anniversary of the terror attack, where five heavily armed gunmen stormed the complex of the Indian Parliament and opened fire, killing nine people.
