The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government has given a boost to the Indian economy, BJP president Amit Shah said here on Tuesday.

He addressed the media on the Bharatiya Janata Party-led central government's completion of one year in office.

Shah said the government has initiated various infrastructure projects in the country.

"We are a pro-active government," Shah said, adding the government has come out of policy paralysis.

He said trade in the country has grown and foreign investments are at their highest in 10 years. He also claimed that prices have been brought under control.

The world is acknowledging India's development and progress today, Shah added.

Talking about the black money issue, Shah said, "The Modi government is determined to tackle the black money issue."

He added that the previous United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government failed to tackle the issue of black money. The NDA government however has performed well and there has been no corruption under the Modi government.
