National Board of Examination will conduct the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) for the post graduate dental courses, from November 30 to December 3, 2016 in 41 different cities of the country, the health ministry said on Wednesday.
The ministry also said that NEET for other medical post-graduate courses offering MS, MD will be held from December 5 to December 13, 2016.
According to a communique issued by the ministry, the examinations shall be held in 86 different centres and will be a Computer Based Test (CBT).
The question paper for the MDS courses will have 240 multiple choice questions from the BDS curriculum, while for the MD, MS courses the question paper will have 300 multiple choice questions from the MBBS curriculum -- both with prior approval of the health ministry.
According to the ministry, the website for NEET-MDS and other NEET PG courses shall be available with effect from September 24, 2016 and online registration shall commence from 7.00 a.m. on September 26 to September 31.
"The entire procedure for registration and application for the examination is online," said the ministry adding that the AIIMS is not covered by NEET.
