AAP leader Sanjay Singh on Tuesday urged the Prime Minister to reveal the truth about the surgical strikes and put to rest all conjectures being circulated in the international, especially the Pakistani, media. He reiterated "there is no question on the PM or the valour of the Indian Army".

Singh's remarks came after Union Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad on Tuesday criticised Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for seeking "proof about the surgical strikes" carried out by the Indian Army across the Line of Control on September 29.

Singh asked Prasad to understand the purpose of the video released by Kejriwal on Monday before reacting.

"In the video, Arvind Kejriwal saluted the Prime Minister saying Bharat Mata ki jai. He said that the Indian Army enhanced the prestige of the country through the surgical strike. International, as well as Pakistani media, are spreading wrong news claiming India did not conduct any surgical strike."

"Entire world is victim of terrorism. We said that Prime Minster should put an end to the claims by international and Pakistani media by giving them an apt reply by revealing the truth about the surgical strikes," Singh said.

Singh raised question: "Is it wrong to salute one's Prime Minister or hail the Indian Army?".

"Neither did we question the Prime Minister nor the army," Singh clarified.
