Barcelona director of football Robert Fernandez insists striker Neymar has the backing of the Catalan club and renewal of his contract is soon to be wrapped up.
Arriving at Barcelona in 2013, the Brazilian superstar has been the centre of interest from clubs across Europe, with the likes of Real Madrid and Manchester City keeping tabs, prompting the European champions to look at securing his future.
Speaking to the Spanish media, the Catalan giants stressed that the 24-year-old striker is happy at the club.
"Neymar and his management are very happy and we are very relaxed," Fernandez was quoted as saying by dailymail.co.uk on Monday.
"The club stands by the player. The important thing is that he is happy and that's something we can see in every game he plays."
Luis Enrique's side remains three points clear at the top of La Liga, after Sunday's laboured 2-0 win over Levante and along with Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi, Neymar has been in devastating form, bagging 21 goals in all competitions this season.
