Actress Nina Dobrev celebrated her 25th birthday with Julianne Hough and Ian Somerhalder.
Dobrev turned a year older Thursday. She was surprised by her best friend Hough and ex-boyfriend Somerhalder with a special cake shortly after midnight, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
Hough posted photographs from the party on her Instagram page with a touching message about how much the "Vampire Diaries" actress means to her.
"Happy Birthday my beautiful Nina Dobrev. You are kind, smart, adventurous, loving, honest, beautiful, mysterious, free, funny, and so on and so forth... I am so lucky to call you my best friend! I love you so much... My sister!" she posted.
