It was a nippy morning in the national capital Monday as cold winds brought down the temperature two notches below the season's average to 12.2 degrees Celsius, the Met Office said.
Shallow fog enveloped the national capital Monday morning, but the day will be clear and sunny.
"Cold winds will continue to blow but the sky will remain clear and sunny," an official of the India Meteorological Department said.
Maximum temperature during the day is expected to be around 26 degrees Celsius.
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 80 percent.
Maximum temperature Sunday was recorded three notches below the season's average at 26 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature was 12 degrees Celsius -- two notches below the season's average.
