The popular TV show "Nisha Aur Uske Cousins" will soon witness a new entry in the star-cast list.
According to a source, the production house has auditioned more than 80 actors from the television industry to finalise the new character called Kabir.
Some of the names, who have been approached for the role are Gurmeet Choudhary, Rithvik Dhanjani, Karan Tacker, Kushal Tandon and Shaleen Malhotra.
However, a final announcement regarding the role is yet to be made.

TV actress Dimple Jhangiani is a "huge fan" of Bollywood star Varun Dhawan and wishes to make her big screen debut with him.
The 24-year-old was on cloud nine when her friend Salil Acharya fulfilled her wish of meeting Varun.
Talking about the incident, Dimple explained in a statement: "I am thankful to Salil for making me meet Varun Dhawan. As an actor, these are extremely interesting times .I think the new generation of actors are really pushing the envelope real early in their careers.
"Particularly I'm a huge fan of Varun and I deeply admire him for his choice of roles. His range is so fantastic that he plays all his roles with utmost conviction be it a 'Main Tera Hero' to 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dhulania' and now 'Badlapur'.
"I actually waited for an hour to meet him and I really hope that his next film 'Badlapur' takes him notches above . He definitely is a superstar in the making."
Asked about her plans to enter Bollywood, Dimple said: "I would like to debut in a film opposite Varun Dhawan. Who won't like to be paired opposite him?"

Chef Vikas Khanna, who is gearing up for the fourth season of cooking based reality show "MasterChef India" has gifted a copy of his new book titled "MasterChef India Cookbook" to megastar Amitabh Bachchan
Khanna launched the book Wednesday in Jaipur and when he met Big B Thursday, he gifted the book to him as a token of love and respect from the "MasterChef" team.
"It was a pleasure meeting Mr. Bachchan and presenting him 'MasterChef India Cookbook'. He is also excited about the all vegetarian season 4 of 'MasterChef' and wishes us well. Everything seems to have fallen in place with the launch of 'MasterChef India Cookbook' and also the start of the Season 4 of MasterChef India. What better luck?" Khanna said in a statement.
Khanna took two-and-half years to write and design "MasterChef India Cookbook", which is based on his personal experiences and journey on "MasterChef India". He shares a special bond with the show, which got him back to his motherland after living in US for more than 10 years.
The book also showcases some of the recipes by some of the previous season contestants.
The fourth season of "MasterChef India" will be aired on Star Plus, starting Jan 26.
