Congress leader Jyotiraditya Scindia on Tuesday vowed not to wear any flower garland till the Shivraj Singh Chouhan-led government in Madhya Pradesh is ousted from power.
Addressing party workers in Chaurai in Madhya Pradesh, the former Union Minister said: "The present government has opened fire at the farmers for seeking their own rights. As long as such government is not uprooted, I will not wear any flower garland."
The Congress MP said he is associated with a party that has assimilated itself into Mahatma Gandhi's principles and hence he will wear "the garland of thread".
Scindia also accused the Shivraj Singh Chouhan government of harassing the poor, labourers and youths.
