As part of the monthly price revision, oil marketing companies on Monday hiked prices of non-subsidised LPG, or cooking gas, that consumers buy after exhausting their subsidised quota, by Rs.27.5 for a 14.2 kg cylinder.

With this rate increase, that comes on the back of four straight monthly reductions, the non-subsidised LPG cooking gas now costs Rs.545 per cylinder in Delhi.

Non-subsidised LPG price was last cut on October 1 by Rs.42 to Rs 517.50 in Delhi.

Instead, OMCs marginally cut the price of aviation turbine fuel (ATF), or jet fuel, in Delhi by Rs.142.56 per kilolitre, or 0.3 percent, to Rs.43,041.61 per kilolitre.

The reduction comes after a 5.5 percent, or Rs.2,245.92 per kilolitre, increase in ATF price made on October 1.

ATF rates vary from airport to airport depending on the local taxes.

As part of the fortnightly price revision, the retail price of petrol was cut marginally by Rs.0.50 a litre from Sunday. Diesel rates were left unchanged.
