Social media giant Facebook has just started rolling out a new music feature that will let you sample the music shared into your feed.
A new post format called "Music Stories" will let users preview 30-second clips of songs shared to Facebook from Spotify, Apple Music, and iTunes, The Verge reported.
Music Stories - only available for Facebook's iOS app users as of now - pulls in streams shared to Facebook from Spotify and Apple Music and repackages them in Facebook's new audio player, allowing users to sample the songs and albums without having to leave the app.
What's interesting is that you do not need to have Apple Music or Spotify installed on your phone, neither you have to be a subscriber to these services to hear clips on Facebook.
If you like the preview, you can save the song to your music collections, or buy it from iTunes by clicking a button on the post.
The social network has already begun rolling out the feature to iOS users around the world.
