Indian Spinal Injuries Centre (ISIC) has collaborated with the National Book Trust to provide emergency medical care at the ongoing World Book Fair here.

According to a ISIC, an Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) ambulance is stationed at Pragati Maidan, where the book fair is being held, to take care of any emergency and critical needs.

"Specialised doctors from the hospital are available for immediate attention. Even the ambulance is equipped with advanced critical care management systems, necessary equipments and infrastructure to handle emergency cardiac arrests, strokes and all other types of medical emergencies," said Aseem Dhall, Director and Head, ISIC Cardiac Sciences.

"Apart from taking care of all the medical needs at the book fair, ISIC Saroj Cardiac Science has also organised many fun games and on-the spot quiz to make participants well aware about health and hygiene," said Dhall in a statement.
