Ronnie O'Sullivan fought back from 1-4 down to beat Stuart Bingham 6-5 and reach the snooker final of the UK Championship, setting up a final showdown with Judd Trump at York's Barbican Centre.

O'Sullivan, a four-time champion, showed patience Saturday night to battle back and book his place in UK final for the first time in seven years, reports Xinhua.

He will face the 2011 champion Trump, who defeated the 2004 winner Stephen Maguire 6-4 in the other semifinal. The final will be played over 19 frames Sunday night with the winner to take home the trophy and 150,000 pounds.

"He gave me a good hiding in the first five frames, and I couldn't compete to be honest," said O'Sullivan, who turned 39 Friday.

"If I play in the final like I did in the last three or four frames then I'll be alright, but what we're talking about here is consistency. I know I'm capable of that but being capable and doing that at will are two different things."
