US President Barack Obama and Tunisian Prime Minister Mehdi Jemaa will meet at the White House April 4, a government official said Tuesday.
The leaders will discuss a broad range of bilateral and regional issues, including US assistance to support Jemaa's reform agenda and Tunisia's stability, Xinhua quoted White House spokesperson Jay Carney saying in a statement.
Jemaa's visit is a "demonstration of the strong bonds of friendship between the American and Tunisian people, and America's enduring commitment to Tunisia's democratic transition", he added.
