The Odisha government on Thursday approved four investment proposals worth Rs 339.27 crore, according to a statement.
If these proposals fructify, they will create employment opportunities for 1,354 people.
The investment proposals were approved in the State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) meeting held under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Aditya Prasad Padhi.
A Delhi-based company has proposed to set up a manufacturing unit for steel tubes and pipes with a capacity of 1.80 lakh tonnes per annum (TPA) at an investment of Rs 130 crore at Kalinganagar Industrial Complex in Jajpur.
The plant will create direct and indirect employment for 600 people, said the statement.
A Jamshedpur-based company proposed to invest Rs 92 crore at Kalinganagar Industrial Complex to set up a manufacturing unit of steel doors and windows. The project would create employment for 250 people.

A Bhubaneswar-based firm plans to set up a logistics park in Khurda district. The park will have warehousing facilities and a 600KW rooftop solar power plant. The facility would be utilized for storing FMCG, durable goods, apparel and pharmaceutical products.
The project involves an investment of Rs 66.79 crore and will create direct and indirect jobs for 362 people.
A Berhampur-based real estate company proposed to set up a resort at Banthapali village in Berhampur.
The resort will include cottages, banquet hall, restaurants, swimming pool and a health club. The project would be established at an investment of Rs 50.48 crore and will create 142 jobs.
Further, investment projects in downstream aluminium, petrochemical and chemicals worth Rs 12,600 crore were recommended to the High Level Clearance Authority for consideration.
