The police officer said most of the youth were indulging in this type of crimes as they get attracted towards costly bikes, cell phones and costly life styles.
Showing a fake driving license in the name of Syed Taher, Kiran had taken 750 CC Harley Davidson bike on a test ride. His sweet talk, dressing and sophisticated manners made the showroom staff believed he is a serious buyer.
However, instead of going on regular test drive route, he took another route and escaped. The show room employee following him failed to catch him in the evening rush-hour traffic.
The accused sneaked out of Hyderabad city after filling tank at a petrol bunk at Panjagutta and escaped towards Mumbai.
The special teams formed by police tracked him after scanning through the CCTV footage and other technical evidences.
