The issue of Bihar Staff Selection Commission question paper leak on Monday rocked the state assembly, with opposition BJP and its allies demanding a CBI probe due to alleged involvement of two politicians of the ruling Grand Alliance.
"The state government should recommend a CBI probe into the leak as the involvement of two leaders of the ruling dispensation has been reported," Leader of Opposition Prem Kumar said in the assembly.
The senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader also demanded that the Nitish Kumar government make the names of the involved politicians public.
"It is shocking and unfortunate that various scams, including the exam toppers scam and SC/ST scholarship scam, have been reported one after another in Bihar in one-and-half years," Prem Kumar said.
Earlier, assembly Speaker Vijay Kumar Choudhary adjourned the house till 2 p.m. after BJP legislators, along with allied members, shouted slogans and created ruckus during Question Hour ahead of the presentation of the state budget for 2017-18.
