Pabla to head Mangalayatan University

Noted academic Surjit Singh Pabla has been named the new vice chancellor of Mangalayatan University.

An alumnus of IIT Bombay, Pabla was formerly in the Indian Army and took part in the 1971 war with Pakistan, a university statement said.
