The Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA) on Saturday reportedly captured six Indian boats off the Gujarat coast with at least 36 fishermen aboard.
According to Manish Lodhari, Secretary of the National Fish Workers Forum, initial reports suggest that the Pakistani marines captured at least six boats with 36 fishermen on board from near the International Maritime Boundary Line (IMBL) in the Arabian Sea off Porbandar coast.
Lodhari said all the boats belong to fishermen from Porbandar.
"We are trying to find out what exactly happened," Lodhari said.
Earlier in August and September, the Pakistan marines had captured seven Indian boats with about 40 fishermen.
