Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has been diagnosed with a small kidney stone, following a visit to a hospital in Lahore, his daughter Maryam Nawaz Sharif has confirmed.
"As opposed to the sensational news in (the) media, PM (Sharif) is Alhamdolillah fine. Diagnosed with small kidney stone that doesn't need any intervention," Maryam Nawaz tweeted.
Prime Minister Sharif was reportedly not keeping well and visited a private hospital on Saturday, Dunya News reported.
He was discharged after being prescribed medicines.
