Pakistan on Thursday repatriated nine Indian fishermen and four civilian prisoners, taking the number of Indians released so far this year to 370.

According to a statement from the Indian External Affairs Ministry, the 13 prisoners and a minor child were repatriated via the Attari/Wagah land border.

India released two Pakistani civilian prisoners on September 28.

"India attaches high priority to addressing all humanitarian issues, including early release and repatriation of Indian fishermen and prisoners in Pakistan's custody," the ministry statement said.

"Release of 370 Indian prisoners, including 363 fishermen, has been secured in 2017, so far," it added.
