People of Pakistan are unfortunate because the country's military and political leadership uses proxy war with India to divert their population from domestic failures, Minister of State for Defence Subhash Bhamre said on Sunday.
"I would say that the people of Pakistan are very unfortunate, because their military leadership and political leadership... their priorities are different. Their priorities are not welfare of their people. And that is why just to divert the attention of their local people, from their failures and providing basic amenities to the people of Pakistan, they have been using the proxy war," he said.
Bhamre was here to participate in a function, organised to celebrate the third year anniversary of the Narendra Modi government.
