An elderly Pakistani man arrested on charges of drug trafficking died in a hospital here early on Thursday, police said.
Mohammad Ashraf, 75, a resident of Lahore, died of illness in the Government Medical College Hospital, a police official told IANS.
He was arrested in 2006 on the border from Jammu's R.S. Pura sector along with 24 kg of heroin.
"Ashraf was suffering from kidney ailment and was shifted to the hospital last month," the official said.
