Indian para-swimmer Sharath Gayakwad qualified for the men's 200-metre individual medley SM8 final at the Commonwealth Games here Monday.
The 23-year-old Indian finished fourth out of five competitors in the heat, clocking two minutes and 41.56 seconds. England's Oliver Hynd came first with a timing of 2:26.94.
All the five who raced in the heat will contend for the medals in the final later in the day at the Tollcross Swimming Centre.
New Delhi's Sandeep Sejwal will also compete later in the men's 50m breaststroke final.
