Paraguay's Guarani have signed eight new players for the 2018 season as they bid for a place in the main draw of the Copa Libertadores.
Among them are Uruguayan goalkeeper Gastón Guruceaga and Argentine trio Andres Imperiale, Ezequiel Videla and Cristian Esparza, the Asuncion club announced, reports Xinhua news agency.
The new arrivals are expected to make their debut for the club in next week's second round of Copa Libertadores qualifiers, in which Guarani face Venezuela's Carabobo over two legs.
"The dream we all have is to qualify for the group stage of the Copa Libertadores and fight for the title, which is what the club deserves," Guarani coach Sebastian Saja said.
Other newcomers include Paraguayan forwards Brahian Ayala, Pablo Velazquez and Luis Neri Caballero as well as Paraguayan goalkeeper Gabriel Perrota.
Guarani will begin their domestic season with a clash against Sol de America in Paraguay's Primera Division on February 3.
