Leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha Ghulam Nabi Azad on Wednesday said he was "disappointed" over the response given by Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar after a debate on the AgustaWestland bribery issue.
"I am disappointed the way the minister has levelled allegations. It (minister's reply to debate) was full of allegations," he said, and added that the entire house was "humiliated" as the minister gave written reply without considering or listening to what the members had to say on the issue.
Reacting to the minister's response to the over four hours long debate, Sharad Yadav of the JD-U and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati said that the case should be probed carefully and there should be no unnecessary allegations to earn brownie points.
"My party wants that the guilty should be punished and the probe should be done under supervision of the Supreme Court," Mayawati said.
The government, however, expressed its inability to involve the Supreme Court in the probe as it has already started.
