It was a partly cloudy sky on Thursday morning with the minimum temperature recorded at 23.2 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season's average, the weather office said.
The maximum temperature was likely to hover around 40 degrees Celsius.
"The sky would remain partly cloudy and unlike on Wednesday, there will be no thunderstorm or thundershowers," said an official from the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The maximum temperature on Wednesday was 40.1 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average and the minimum temperature was 24.4 degrees Celsius, the season's average.
