Anil Kapoor is bowled over by filmmaker Rakesh Omprakash Mehra's passion for films, and the actor-producer says he connects with people who are passionate about their work.
"He (Mehra) is a man of very few words. I admire his work...the way he makes films and his passion for films. I connect with people who are passionate about their work, and that's how we connected," Anil, who will be seen in Mehra's film "Fanney Khan", told IANS.
Asked about the project, he said: "It has a fantastic script. It's a musical. I am really thrilled to be part of the film. It's the first time that I am playing a character whose name is Khan."
Mehra's connection with Anil goes back to the 2009 film "Delhi-6". It starred Anil's daughter Sonam Kapoor. And now, the filmmaker is set to launch the actor's son Harshvardhan Kapoor in "Mirzya".
