Former finance minister P. Chidambaram on Saturday advised his successor Arun Jaitley, who said he was ready to present evidence against top Congress leaders in parliament, to instead present it in a court of law.
"If he has evidence, he should place it in the court of law. Only those who do not have evidence, will want to place innueundos and suggestions before parliament. parliament is not a court."
Jaitley had earlier said that he was ready to present evidence against Congress' serving and former chief ministers and top leaders in parliament.
Chidambaram's son Karti Chidambaram's financial dealings are also being questioned for alleged irregularities.
