The week ended on a sunny, pleasant note in the national capital as Sunday's maximum temperature settled at 19.5 degrees Celsius, four notches below the season's average. The city will experience a misty Monday morning but the day would be sunny.
"There will be light fog early morning tomorrow (Monday) but the afternoon will be sunny," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
"The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 20and 8 degrees Celsius," he added.
Meanwhile, fog in parts of north India continued to disrupt rail movement Sunday.
According to the Northern Railway, nine trains arriving into Delhi from other parts of north India were delayed due to fog.
Sunday morning was pleasant and saw moderate fog. The minimum temperature was 7 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average.
Saturday's maximum temperature was recorded at 16.5 degrees Celsius, six notches below the season's average, while the minimum temperature settled at 14.2 degrees Celsius, six notches above the season's average.
