The world of Tomorrowland music festival from Belgium will find echo in Mumbai and Mexico City on July 25 through "UNITE: The Mirror to Tomorrowland". It will bring the pulsating beats and sounds of international DJs Martin Garrix, Armin van Buuren and Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike alive here via a live video connection.

Under the title UNITE, the mirror to Tomorrowland, two parties will be held in Mexico City and Mumbai, which will be directly connected with the festival in Boom, Belgium, a statement said.

In India, the initiative will be organised by the original Belgian founders together with the Percept Live, the live entertainment division of Indian media conglomerate Percept Limited.

Shailendra Singh, joint managing director of Percept, notes that the fest is a "cool" way to bring music lovers together.

"It is happening for the first time in India. It will get the vibe of the festival to the people who cannot afford to fly to Europe to be a part of the musical extravaganza. The power of uniting dance music fans globally is a very cool thing," Singh told IANS.

With the technological bridge, the aura and vibe of the festival will also seep into different parts of the world as they not only intend to cross borders with the music, but get all stage gigs as well to heighten the spirit.

Singh emphasises that they plan to capture the "live moment" with the initiative.

"There will be live broadcast, but with a twist. There will be moments and the foreign artists will interact with the crowd. We have a lookalike stage of a real festival and if there are fireworks in Belgium, then the same type of firework will take place in India. It will be like living in the moment," Singh added.

The event will be held at Dome, NSCI, Worli, Mumbai and tickets will go on sale on June 17 via the website tomorrowland.com.

The people will first sample the beats of Armin van Buuren moving into the sound world of Martin Garrix and summing it up with Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike.
