Gurgaon's Chief Judicial Magistrate Ravneet Garg, booked for the murder of his wife, was questioned for more than four hours overnight, police said Sunday.
A special investigation team (SIT), set to probe the death of Garg's wife Geetanjali, questioned him at the assistant commissioner of police's (ACP) office in Palam Vihar till Saturday midnight.
Meanwhile, the four-member SIT headed by ACP Ashok Bakshi failed to find anything even five days after the murder. The team had to deposit its primary report within two days of its formation on July 18.
"The SIT Sunday questioned two female relatives of Garg for hours at his government allotted house here in the Officers Colony," said a senior police officer. One of them was identified by Geetanjali's father Om Prakash Aggarwal as someone who could throw light on the incident as she was present in Garg's house then.
A team of ballistic experts Sunday also examined the spot in Police Lines, where Geetanjali's body was found Thursday, for three bullets that were fired at her from Garg's licensed revolver. The weapon was found near the body.
Geetanjali, 24, bore three bullet wounds - on her chin, chest and stomach - but bullets were not found in the body.

However, her family members dismissed the efforts of police.
"It was an open place where the body was found July 17. It was useless to trace the missing bullets on the fifth day of the crime. Moreover, there were heavy rains in the city on Saturday," Rajiv Bansal, a relative of Geetanjali, told IANS.
Geetanjali's brother Pradeep Aggarwal Saturday lodged a first information report against Garg and his parents K.K. Garg and Rachna Garg, accusing them of murder.
"Ravneet and Geetanjali got married November 2007. Everything was fine for a few years but the attitude of Ravneet and his parents towards Geetanjali started changing after she delivered two baby girls (now aged around four and a half and three years)," Aggarwal said in his complaint.
He demanded a probe by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) into his sister's murder.
"Ravneet Garg was holding the post of CJM, he may influence the police investigation," he said.
Geetanjali left her house around 3 p.m. Wednesday and her body was found in the bushes near a playground after a few hours, police said.
The panel of doctors that conducted the autopsy said Geetanjali could not have shot herself thrice to commit suicide.
Police Saturday issued notice to Garg and his parents to join the investigation.
"The family members of Garg were frequently changing their statements. One of his relative said that Geetanjali had lunch with her around 4 p.m. (July 17) and just after that, she (Geetanjali) left the home. On the other hand, the post-mortem report says that her stomach and intestines were empty," Rajiv Bansal added.
