Actor-filmmaker Prabhudheva's comeback Tamil directorial "Karuppu Raja Vellai Raja" has been stalled for a while and not shelved, a source from the production team has clarified.
Prabhudheva's last Tamil directorial was 2011 film "Vedi".
"Karuppu Raja Vellai Raja" went on the floors earlier this month and it stars Vishal, Karthi and Sayyeshaa.
"The team even shot for four days. Unfortunately, the shoot had to be stalled because both Karthi and Vishal walked out citing date issues. The makers haven't shelved the project but plan to commence work with new male leads. This process might take a while," a source from the film's unit told IANS.
Meanwhile, Prabhudheva might direct a Hindi project.
"He has some commitment in Bollywood. He might finish that project and come back and finish this film," the source added.

The film has been written by late writer-director K. Subash.
Prabhudheva had earlier told IANS that he would like to dedicate the film to Subash.
"When I met him last year, he told me he wasn't sure if he would be around to see the film. I told him everything is going to be alright. Unfortunately, he left us even before we could start the project. I would like to dedicate this film to him," Prabhudheva had said.
Subash is known for directing the 1990 Vijayakanth-starrer "Sathriyan", and even penned the script for the Shah Rukh Khan's "Chennai Express".
