The Body Shop India has collaborated with WWF India to protect endangered animals like orangutans, tigers and monkeys. Actress Jacqueline Fernandez, the cosmetic brand's ambassador, is all for the "responsible" move.

Shoppers will be able to help protect some of the world's most endangered species this Christmas by buying gifts for their loved ones from the brand and every selected gift a customer buys, will help protect endangered animals in Vietnam, Malaysia and Indonesia and endangered habitat in Vietnam.

This move comes under Bio-Bridges programme of the brand that aims to regenerate 75 million square metres of forest by 2020 in locations which are rich in biodiversity and home to some of the world's most endangered animals, helping to protect them from exploitation such as poaching and unsustainable logging.

Jacqueline said in a statement: "Through my association with the brand, I want to share my concern towards wildlife and want people to be more aware socially and morally."

The brand's products, she said, "are deeply inspired from nature and natural ingredients are at the heart of their products, it is 100% vegetarian and it is forever against animal testing".

"The initiative towards protecting nature and wildlife is a tremendous move towards humanity and being responsible," added the Sri Lankan beauty.
