The French Football Federation (FFF) Thursday banned Paris Saint Germain's sporting director Leonardo for pushing a referee in tunnel two months ago.
In a statement posted on its website, the FFF said the disciplinary commission imposed one-year ban to the Brazilian director from the bench, the referees' dressing-room and from all official functions till June 30, 2014, reports Xinhua.
The former Inter and AC Milan manager whose suspension runs from May 8, had denied pushing the referee during the PSG vs Valenciennes game last season, saying he was shoved towards him by the match delegate.
PSG were also handed a suspended three-point deduction over the incident for the 2013-14 season.
