Former Bihar chief minister Rabri Devi Saturday filed her nomination papers from Saran parliamentary constituency as an RJD candidate.
Rabri Devi was accompanied by her husband Lalu Prasad when she filed her nomination papers in Chapra, district headquarters, about 80 km from here.
Later, she told the media that she is confident of winning the seat.
"People have been supporting me and will vote for me in the polls," she said.
Rabri Devi is pitted against BJP's Rajiv Pratap Rudy, a former union minister.
Lalu Prasad and Rabri Devi addressed an election meeting after she filed the nomination papers.

Saran seat has strong presence of Lalu's castemen Yadav and Rudy's castemen Rajput.
Rabri Devi was fielded by Rashtriya Janata Dal in Saran from where Lalu Prasad won in 2009. But, he had to quit after being convicted in a case of the multi-crore fodder scam last year.
