Rahul Gandhi, Kejriwal mourns death of Kanu Ramdas Gandhi

Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday mourned the passing away of Kanu Ramdas Gandhi, grandson of Mahatma Gandhi.

"Sad to learn of the passing away of Kanubhai Gandhi, grandson of Gandhiji. My heartfelt condolences to his family," Rahul Gandhi tweeted.

"Kanu Gandhi, grandson of Mahatma Gandhi passes away. May his soul rest in peace," Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Kejriwal tweeted.

Kanu Ramdas Gandhi died in a private hospital in Surat on Monday evening.

He was admitted in the hospital since October 22 after he suffered a heart attack and brain haemorrhage which left half his body paralysed.
