Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi on Monday met party leaders from minority communities to discuss ways to strengthen the organisation.
Gandhi tweeted that he also discussed how to expand the party's outreach at all levels. Those who attended the meeting came from all over the country.
Senior Congress leaders Oscar Fernandes and Ahmed Patel were present in the meeting.
"It was discussed how to unite people belonging to the minority communities and how to reach out to them," said a leader who attended the meeting.
"Everybody gave suggestions, opinions and ideas how to further strengthen the support of minority communities. Some even expressed their dissatisfaction. Rahul Gandhi listened to everyone carefully and noted down the points," he added.
