Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi will wind up his 26-day 'Kisan Yatra' across Uttar Pradesh and return to the national capital on Thursday afternoon.
During the yatra, he covered 3,438 km across Uttar Pradesh which is slated to go to assembly polls in 2017.
Gandhi will begin the last leg of his yatra from Meerut at 10 a.m. and reach Delhi via Ghaziabad. The yatra will end at Sansad Marg here around 4:30 p.m.
"On reaching Delhi, he'll first pay tributes to Mahatma Gandhi at Raj Ghat here," said Congress spokesperson R.P.N. Singh.
"In the past 26 days, the yatra covered 141 assembly constituencies. Rahul Gandhi-ji addressed 26 'khat sabhas' (cot assemblies). There were 26 roadshows during the yatra," he added.
