Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi will come to Maharashtra Monday for two day intensive campaign ahead of the crucial second phase of Lok Sabha elections in the state next week, a party official said.
On Monday, Gandhi will address rallies in Latur and Shirdi in the Marathwada and western Maharashtra regions respectively.
The next day, he will address rallies in Pune and Hingoli - all the regions going to polls in the second phase April 17.
Congress general secretary in-charge of the state Mohan Prakash, Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan, state Congress chief Manikrao Thakre and representatives of other allied parties will be present at these rallies.
Last month, Gandhi had toured Mumbai, north Maharashtra, Vidarbha and other parts of the state in the run-up to the Lok Sabha elections.
