It was a cloudy Sunday morning in the capital with the minimum temperature settling two notches below average at 24.4 degrees Celsius. The Met office has forecast rains later in the day.
"The skies will remain cloudy and some parts of the capital may get rains," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 33 degrees Celsius, the official added.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 87 percent.
Heavy rains lashed the capital Saturday and the maximum temperature settled a notch below average at 32.6 degrees Celsius while the minimum was recorded three notches below average at 23.5 degrees.
Since the monsoon's arrival in June, Delhi has received 636.8 mm of rain, 47 percent more than average.
